About us

William Bailey opened the firm in February 1990 having previously worked in the city and in a community law centre and during the 1980’s as a partner in a firm in Greenwich. The firm was set up as a general practice to serve the local community in Dulwich and East Dulwich. For some 10 years the firm did a mixture of private and legal aid work but since 2000 has concentrated on private work and no longer undertake legal aid cases.

Conveyancing & Property Work
We do a substantial amount of Conveyancing and Property work including purchases, sales, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and right to buy applications. We cover both residential conveyancing and commercial conveyancing, leasehold and freehold. We are happy to act for businesses in connection with their conveyancing requirements. David Coombs and the Conveyancing will be happy to help with all of your conveyancing needs.
Probate
You may have had a death in the family and are wondering what to do and how to manage the deceased’s personal affairs. The deceased may or may not have left a Will and you will need to administer their Estate It may be that a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration are required. This document will give you the legal right to deal with the person’s affairs, their property, money and possessions. You can instruct us to help you through this process. Please contact Sarah-Jane Mundow who will be happy to assist you in smoothly administering the deceased’s estate.
Wills and Estate Planning
We adopt a friendly and accessible approach to creating Wills. A Will ensures that what you want to happen with your assets after you have died does happen and we can assist you in drafting Wills so that your loved ones are adequately protected in the event of your death. We can also provide home visits to those clients who are unable to make it to our office We also assist with Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputy Orders and other legal matters affecting the elderly and vulnerable. Sarah-Jane Mundow and the rest of the Private Client team will be happy to assist in all areas of Wills and Estate Planning.
Family Law
The firm deals with Family Law including divorce cases and financial matters between married couples and co-habitants. These matters are dealt with by Sarah-Jane Mundow.

Sarah-Jane Mundow

Partner

Sarah-Jane is a partner at the firm with over ten years’ experience in private client work, specialising in wills and probate. Sarah-Jane has been working in this area since she qualified. Sarah-Jane qualified as a solicitor in 2009 after gaining a Distinction at the College of Law. She completed her training contract here at the firm and went on to then become a partner in the firm. Sarah-Jane has worked on countless private client matters and draws from a wealth of experience when dealing with her clients matters.
