William Bailey opened the firm in February 1990 having previously worked in the city and in a community law centre and during the 1980’s as a partner in a firm in Greenwich.

The firm was set up as a general practice to serve the local community in Dulwich and East Dulwich. For some 10 years the firm did a mixture of private and legal aid work but since 2000 has concentrated on private work and no longer undertake legal aid cases.

The firm has sought to provide a quality service and at the same time remain approachable and friendly.

There is now staff of 8 with two Partners, (David Coombs and Sarah-Jane Mundow)  two Assistant Solicitors and support staff. WIlliam Bailey now works on a Consultancy basis with the firm.

The firm likes to maintain close contact with other Community organisations and local businesses.
